Job Purpose:
The Mechanic is responsible for the full maintenance and repairs of the vehicle
Key Tasks Required:
- Full responsibility of the Customers Vehicle and the maintenance/repair work carried out in full and to Company & H & S standards
- Undertaking full inspection before hand-over to customer
- Recording all relevant details, completing records etc
- Using materials, parts and equipment in an efficient manner
- Full compliance with all safety procedures/vehicle operations essential safety steps
- Repairing and replacing customer’s tyres as needed
- Adhering fully to the Company’s operations manual
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
- Understand and adhere to all the Company policies and procedures/operations manual
- Sourcing & Ordering parts, carrying out maintenance and repair of customers vehicles
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
- Must be fully qualified mechanic and be able to present qualification papers
- Experience in both diagnostics and fault finding
- Full Clean Driving Licence essential
